Karachi: Mr. Ashraf P Butt Advocate, a daring Christian leader, former Secretary General of Pakistan Christian Congress and General Secretary of God’s People Fellowship of Pakistan GPFP died after long illness on December 5, 2019, here in Karachi.
Mr. Butt,s funeral was attended by large number of Christian community and legal fraternity in Karachi and laid to rest in local graveyard.
Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC in a message have paid tributes to services rendered by Mr. Ashraf P Butt advocate for Christian masses in Pakistan.
Dr. Bhatti said that Mr. Ashraf Butt was lone voice for Pakistan to establish diplomatic relations with Israel that Pakistani Christian may visit their Holy Land to perform religious rituals as pilgrims. It was very strong demand By Mr. Butt in Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
The Voice Chairman Mr. Shahbaz Ashraf ( Son of Mr. Ashraf P Butt ) of GPFP and The Deputy Secretary General Mr. Aamir Suleman Aziz and all the cabinet members of GPFP would like to express our sincere condolences to all the family members and wishing peace, comfort and courage to face the days ahead and loving mèmories to forever hold in hearts." Words cannot express the sadness. May the comfort of God help the GPFP in this difficult time. The GPFP vows to continue the mission of the late founder of the organization.
