Affendi, Kassar elected President, General Secretary of HUJ
HYDERABAD: October 6, 2019. (PCP) Farhan Effendi and Abbas Kassar were re-elected unopposed as president and general secretary of Hyderabad Union of Journalists (Dastoor), third time consecutive as announced by election commission member Noor Muhammad Bhutto here Saturday.
According to result whole body was elected unopposed including Akhtar Pirzada as senior vice president, Mir Abdul Jabbar Narejo and Shakil Qureshi both as vice presidents.
Others elected were Rashid Nadim joint secretary, Mujahid Aziz as treasurer while Danish Kazi was elected as Information secretary. Followings were elected as members of governing body:Hakim Leghari, Ghulam Ali Khosani, Shamsher Khaskheli, Nazim Ali, Kazi Waseem, Junaid and Dr. Kausar.
