Sahiwal: March 23, 2019. (PCP) Mr. Javed Sahotra Advocate who is pleading case of a teen age Christian girl in court of law reports that a Christian girl aged 12 years and 7 months had been kidnapped by Muslim man along with four others on 9 April 2018.

The girl had been converted in Islam forcibly on April 10 and then married with main accused Tahir Shehzad on same day. Minor girl Masoom Bibi ran away secretly from the clutches of accused persons on 8 August 2018.

Accused persons got recorded statements of minor girl in their favour with fear before courts of law when she was in their detention.

Sidique Masih father had reported this incident to police already and FIR had been lodged in police station but police did not arrest accused persons and made discharge report of this case.

Father of victim challenged nikah nama of her minor daughter in family court on the ground that her daughter Masoom Bibi did not change her religion she is still Christian and she did not got read nikah with Muslim man with her consent but she stated before family court that it is all with fear of murder of my father and my only brother because accused persons threatened me and as this they got my statements. She again stated that she is Christian and is recording her statement before honorable family court with her free consent and will.

Advocate Javed Sahotra,s suit for jactitation of marriage may please be decreed and nikah nama be declared null and void. But the family court dismissed the suit of Masoom Bibi Christian minor girl.

Here is an important question that what is the age of conversion in Pakistan. Our non-Muslims Parliamentarian will not be born again if law regarding age of conversion is not made.

According, to judge family, verdict that Masoom Bibi is bound to continue to live in the house of Accused Tahir Shehzad Incident took place in District Sahiwal.
