Lahore: March 6, 2019. (Haroon Gill) A Capuchin delegation led by Fr. Benedict Ayodi OFM Cap and Fr. Francis Nadeem OFM Cap visited a Muslim seminary Jammiah Bait-ul-Quran along with another Capuchin friars Fr. Shahzad Khokher OFM Cap and Fr. Lazar Aslam OMF Cap The director of the Muslim seminary Maulana Mufti Ashiq Hussain welcomed the all the guest.
Fr. Benedict on this occasion said that he had wonderful experience of hospitality in Pakistan. He gave the massage of peace and harmony to the students in the Muslim seminary and he mingled with them. He emphasized to follow the footsteps of St. Francis and Sultan to become the ambassadors of peace.
Maulana Mufti Ashiq Hussain the director of the seminary assured his commitment to continue work closely Fr. Francis Nadeem in order to promote peace and harmony between Islam and Christianity. He appreciated the Capuchins being ambassador of peace.
Fr. Francis Nadeem the custos of the Capuchins in Pakistan expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Maulana Mufti Ashiq Hussain and his team for their hospitality, cooperation and support in promoting peace and harmony in the Society.
