London: November 14, 2018. Former Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi has tossed up a new controversy with a comment on Kashmir, made on foreign soil. "Pakistan doesn't want Kashmir... Pakistan can't even manage its four provinces," the former cricket captain said in London. The 38-year-old cricketer was addressing students at the British parliament when he made remarks that are embarrassing to his country and its new government headed by cricket legend Imran Khan. "I say Pakistan doesn't want Kashmir. Don't give it to India either. Let Kashmir be independent. At least humanity will be alive. Let people not die... Pakistan doesn't want Kashmir... It can't even manage its four provinces...What is the big thing is insaaniyat (humanity). People who are dying there, it is painful. Any death, be it from any community, is painful," Shahid Afridi was heard saying in a video posted on social media Whatever, Pakistani establishment may comment on statement made by Shahid Afridi but he has presented true solution of Kashmir according to UN Resolution of 1948 which referred Right of Self Determination for Kashmiri people. The UN Resolution of 1948 which tainted by Pakistan and presented on national and International forums demands right of self determination for Muslims of Kashmir in India but fall short to tell that Resolution said that both Pakistan and India will give Kashmir under full control of UNO to hold vote of Self Determination while Pakistan not ready to free Kashmir under its occupation. In reality, voice of Shahid Afridi is only true solution of Kashmir which may cause anger against him when some circles in Pakistan think that such idea was put in mouth of Shahid Afridi by Pakistan Army and Imran Khan government.
