Pakistan: May 17, 2007. The Constitution of Pakistan states that there is religious freedom to every one but we regret to say that the Christian families living in Charsadah NWFP have received the warnings from the Muslims of the city that either they accept Islam or leave their houses and quit. We strongly condemn such discriminated attitude of the Muslims towards the Christian. The people of Charsadah forget that their Muslim brothers are living in Christian countries if such situation arises how they would feel .It is a horrible action that the Christian are being threatened to accept Islam. This may spread through out Pakistan the Christian do not understand what will happen if this continues through out Pakistan. The Christian countries do not allow the Christians even to visit their countries .The Christian here in Pakistan are forced to accept Islam or leave. Bishop James Dean and His colleagues in a press release with the hope that the Muslims of charsadah would come to their senses and not to terrify the Christians living with them since decades.
