Karachi: April 10, 2018. (PCP) Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, Founder President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC in a statement issued here today from Central Secretariat of PCC have said that Christians are not safe in Pakistan and Administration have failed to adopt adequate security measure for safety and security of their life and property. Dr. Nazir Bhatti expressed grave concern on blocking PCC website on PTCL servers from years which is against freedom of religious as shrined in constitution of Pakistan. PCC Website is prohibited to view in Pakistan on which Christian bodies have been protesting frequently. Pakistan is under political turmoil where Establishment is engineering forthcoming national election to control democracy. In such situation Christians were targeted in Quetta and cases were registered under blasphemy laws against Christians on pressure of Muslim religious extremist groups supported and protected by Pakistan Army secret agencies. Nazir Bhatti condemned one Hindu Member of National Assembly who joined Imran Khan party PTI on intimation of Pakistan Army. PCC chief demanded equal basic democratic rights for Christians and their protection under law of land and not to treat them as second-class citizens.
