Lahore: January 19, 2018. (PCP) The Delegation of Muslim and Christian leaders of National Commission for Interreligious dialogue & Ecumenism (Catholic Bishops Conference Pakistan) visits Zainab’s family at Kasur in the leadership of Fr. Francis Nadeem OFM Cap.
The delegation included Fr. Inayat Bernard, Fr. Lazar Aslam, Moulana Muhammad Asim Makhdoom, Chaudary Shafi Gujjar, Moulana Mufti Ashiq Hussain, Dr. Badar Munir and Mufti Abdul Rehman. The members of the delegation showed solidarity with the parents of Zainab and assured their support and prayers in this time of turmoil. They too condemned the killing of Zainab and asked the law and order institutions for an immediate action against the culprits.
The parents of Zainab thanked the members of the delegation for their presence and prayers.
