Justice for Zainab: Various organizations protest barbaric incident of Qasur

HYDERABAD: January 11, 2018. (Abbas Kassar) Various organizations and social welfare department held protest demonstrations outside press club here against savagery of Qasur where an 8 years girl Zainab was kidnapped, raped and her dead body thrown in garbage. \The protesting organizations included Qaumi Awami Tehrik, Sujak Bar Tehrik, Sindhi Shagird Tehrik led by Dr. Gulzar Jumani,Zeenat Samoon,professor Allah Bachayo Unnar, Arfa Rajper; Sahar Organization led by Waqas Memon and Hussam Shaikh and Social welfare department of Sindh government led by deputy director Saeeda Bano and Munir Ahmed Bhatti. The protesters condemned what they described as shameful act of kidnapping, rape of an innocent girl who was on her way to take lesson of Quran. They demanded immediate arrest of killer. They also slated police action against protesting citizens killing 2 of them and injuring many others. The participants of demos demanded FIR and arrest of police cops who opened fire on peaceful citizens in Qasur. T hey also demanded removal of Punjab government which was indifferent to providing justice to Zainab family. They opposed formation of JIT saying that it was delaying tactic of government and asked for immediate arrest of culprits.
