Lahore: December 22, 2017. (Sunil John) An Interfaith Prayer Service in remembrance of the victims of Quetta bomb blast tragedy was organized by the National Commission for Interreligious Dialogue & Ecumenism (Catholic Bishops Conference Pakistan) at Catholic Cathedral Lahore. His Grace Archbishop Sebastian Francis Shaw presided over this joint interfaith prayer service. A number of Muslim Scholars and religious leaders were also present. All the participants strongly condemned the cowardly and inhuman attack on the Church and innocent worshippers. While extending their condolences to the victims, they prayed for the families of the dead and injured worshipers. They too called upon the government to bring the criminals to justice and address extremist elements and root causes of this intolerance as they showed solidarity with the Christians.
