Lahore: December 22, 2017. (Sunil John) An Interfaith Prayer Service in remembrance of the victims of Quetta bomb blast tragedy was organized by the National Commission for Interreligious Dialogue & Ecumenism (Catholic Bishops Conference Pakistan) at Catholic Cathedral Lahore. His Grace Archbishop Sebastian Francis Shaw presided over this joint interfaith prayer service. A number of Muslim Scholars and religious leaders were also present. All the participants strongly condemned the cowardly and inhuman attack on the Church and innocent worshippers. While extending their condolences to the victims, they prayed for the families of the dead and injured worshipers. They too called upon the government to bring the criminals to justice and address extremist elements and root causes of this intolerance as they showed solidarity with the Christians. In his message, His Grace Archbishop prayed that may God grant us strength, wisdom, tolerance and peace. He stressed the need to be united in this turmoil. This kind of attack is a series of separating us from each other, but we shall remain united and firm in our belief. All the participants while holding lit candles in their hands prayed that may God give strength to the families of the victims to endure the loss of their loved ones and speedy recovery for the injured. Among the other participants were Fr. Francis Nadeem OFM Cap, Fr. Imayat Bernard, Fr. Samson Dilawer, Fr. Henry Paul, Fr. Fiaz Rafiq, Fr. Qaiser Feroz, Fr.
