Second Christian inmate jailed in backlash of Youhanabad suicide bombing mysteriously dies

Lahore: December 10, 2017. (PCP) A Christian inmate Usman Shaukat mysteriously dies in Kot Lakhpat Jail Lahore who was arrested when protesting against twin suicide bombing by terrorists in Churches of Youhanabad in 2015. On March 15, 2015, twin suicide attacks on churches in Lahore claimed 14 lives, injure over 68 when worship services were underway. TTP claimed responsibility of suicide bombing on Churches and threatened more attacks in different cities of Pakistan. The Christian community took out to streets to protest expressing anger that authorities not provided adequate security to their life and property. Over one hundred Christian protesters were arrested and charged under anti-terror laws and kept in Kot Lakhpat Jail denying bail. Inmate Indryas Gulaam also died in jail without provision of medical assistance according to jail menu because he was Christian. Mr. Aslam Pervaiz Sahotra Chairman of Masiha Millat Party is also very sick in jail who was arrested during protest.
