HYDERABAD: December 7, 2017. (By Abbas Kassar) Hindu community of village Mohib Kakepoto and Naserpur town have protested against grabbing of their ancient graveyard spread on 16 acres by a landlord Kazi Abdul Majeed in connivance of revenue department officers. Then the land of minority graveyard was given on lease to landlord by revenue department district Tando Allahyar. When Hindu community held protest demonstration against illegal occupation of their graveyard, deputy commissioner of Tando Allahyar district Rashid Ahmed Zardari visited the site and allowed Hindus land less than one acre for their graveyard with compound wall. DC issued orders to Hindus not to bury any of their dead outside compound wall which means DC snatched 16 acres of Hindu graveyard land. Hindu community has expressed indignation over such kind of cruelty against Hindu community adding that Hindus were not safe in Pakistan as Muslim majority was bend to atrocities against them through kidnapping their girls converting their religion and getting them married with Muslim men, on other occasions their homes were attacked and even occupying their graveyards.
Hindu community has made appeal to Sindh High Court, central leadership of ruling PPP and I.G.Sindh to help them vacate the occupation of their graveyard and also take action against deputy commissioner Tando Allahyar Rashid Zardari.
