Six years old Christian girl shot dead by attacks of Muslim money lenders on interest

Faisalabad: November 30, 2017. (PCP) A Christian family took 40,000 Pakistani Rupees on loan from Muslim group of money lenders on compound interest which amounts up to USD $ 380 but failed to pay back monthly interest amount in time on which Muslim with armed people attacked his home in which 6 years old girl was shot dead. According to information’s, Waris Masih resident of Muhala Elahi-Abad street 20, Faisalabad, Punjab, borrowed money from Muslim on interest for some household which he could not paid in time. To lend money on interest is termed as un-Islamic in Pakistan but it has shaped up as an industry where Muslim money lenders give money to poor and needy people and on delay in payment harass and attack their clients or take their homes but law not acts against them. On November 28, 2017, Muslim feudal named Mohammad Ajmal Urf Mithu Cheema came to house of Waris Masih and demanded his money. When Waris Masih requested for more time for payment on which Mohammad Ajmal became furious and started firing from his pistol. 6 years old Sicilia Maerah, daughter of Waris Masih received bullet injury and died in hospital The local Police (SHO) Ghulam Farid of Saddar Police Station, registered case against Muslim money lender but not arrested him till filing this story.
