Social activist Michael Boota calls on Counsel General of Pakistan in New York

New York: November 7, 2017. (PCP) A Social activist and community leader Mr.Michael Boota called on Counsel General of Pakistan in New York Mr. Raja Ali Ejaz on November 3, 2017, to discuss social issue of US Citizen of Pakistan origin and Permanent residents. Mr. Michael Boota now based in Philadelphia was an active member of Catholic Church in New York and extended his services for Catholic congregates in rehabilitation and commissioning of Church. In his service to Philadelphian Christians from Pakistan origin, Mr. Boota have expressed his keen interest in comforting some families who lost their family members or relatives funerals. He also helped many Christian and Muslim to organize their records concerning documentation of Pakistan to ease their travelling. During meeting with His Excellency Raja Ali Ejaz, Counsel General of Pakistan in New York, Mr. Michael Boota requested for support of Consulate General to American Pakistani who wish to send dead bodies of their family members or relatives to Pakistan for burial. Mr. Boota told Counsel General that first dead bodies were transported to Pakistan through PIA flight without any charges but when PIA have announced permanently suspension of its flight to New York then families of deceased will face immense problems in paying high freights. Mr. Boota urged Counsel General to provide financial and moral support in transportation of coffins or engage any other air services. Mr. Raja Ali Ejaz assured full support to community members and make process easier to manage travelling documents of individual of Pakistani origin in USA.
