A Christian family of Hyderabad under threat of death appeals for protection

HYDERABAD: September 25, 2017. (By Abbas Kassar) A Christian family of Sikenderabad near here was facing death threat from unknown masked men. According to report Rashid Akhtar son of Murad Hasil Masih has told media that few years back his son Salman Rashid was beaten by a gang of religious men in Lahore. Family shifted to another place due to fear. Later he was shifted to Tando Allahyar. He told that he works as driver and his wife as housemaid. He told that family has not seen their son Salman Rashid who was under terror threat. He told that last night as he was on his way to Hari Camp Kotri along with Sooba Bhatti advocate, they were intercepted by 2 unknown masked men with big beard who doubted Sooba Bhatti as Salman Rashid but when Sooba Bhatti put off his hamlet then they ran away. He said he has lodged a report at police post Telegraph Jamshoro and made appeal to higher authorities to help provide protection to his son and family as they were feeling scared by unknown bearded men.
