Lahore: September 5, 2017. (Saif Sohail) On 30 August ,2017 in St. Mary’s Minor Seminary the 66th scholastic year was commenced with the mass celebrated by Archbishop Sebastian Francis Shaw OFM, Fr. Inayat Bernard (Rector of St. Mary's Minor Seminary), Fr. Jahanzab Iqbal, Fr. Frayyad Ansar, Fr. Eric Risani and deacon Rafhan Fayyaz. During the Holy Mass Staff member, diocesan and capuchin students participated. During homily, the Archbishop congratulated all the new and old students and in his message, he advised the students to be kind & faithful & give respect and obedience to your teachers & rector. After that all the staff & students went to the Dining hall for refreshment. Afterward all the students & staff members were invited to St. John Mary Vianney Hall where Fr. Inayat Bernard (Rector) gave the brief introduction of the seminary staff & life style and after that Fr. Faryad Ansar said that we should keep ourselves interested to learn different languages.
