Lahore: May 24, 2017. (PCP) Children are ambassadors of Peace. Students of different schools and Madrisas got together under the banner of National Commission for Inter-Religious Dialogue and Ecumenism (Catholic Bishops conference - Pakistan). Fr. Francis Nadeem OFM Cap took an initiative to reach out at a Public Garden to proclaim the message of peace and harmony by planting Olive trees by little children.
The children were carrying beautiful posters with the slogans of peace. They marched in the garden and chanted the slogans We want Peace aloud.
Fr. Francis Nadeem encouraged all the students to be an active member of peace promoting society and contribute their efforts to promote peace and harmony.
The children planted an olive tree in the garden and released pigeons in the air to express their thirst for peace and harmony. The Principals of the schools were also present in this programme.
