Some elements not tolerate other than Sharia laws in Pakistan

London: January 9, 2017. (PCP) In response to returns Minorities Protection Bill on forced conversion Mr. Saleem Khursheed Khokhar, Ex-MPA Sindh and Ex-Chairman Standing Committee on Minorities Affairs Sindh Assembly said that some religious parties have rallied against the proposed legislation, call it against the spirit of Islam. Some persons will not tolerate anything other than Islam and Islamic laws in Pakistan. He said the campaign will be initiated against return of said bill. Former MPA Stephen Asif from Birmingham said that the real face of Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Muslim League (N) has been shown and they treat its minorities from other religions as non-humans. Chairman CLF Khalid Gill from Toronto said that we condemned the return of said bill from Governor and this issue will not die, we will soon start campaign. Christian Lawyer Miss Jacqueline Sultan, Human Rights Activist said that Religious parties are against said legislation. She said that the legislation had addressed growing complaints against increasing incidents of abduction and forced conversion of underage minorities’ girls. She said some parties will not let other religious follows to live peacefully and their aim is only to completely obliterate other faiths. The Government of Pakistan adopt only policies / resolution / bills only for Muslims community which shows that they have no care of non-Muslims and they treat minorities like non humans in the land of Muslim majority. She said that the minority community will raise voice and soon start campaign throughout Pakistan. She demands to pass said bill so that minorities can be protected under the law.
