ICCF Director delivers telephonic address to meeting of its Thailand Chapter

New York: November 2, 2016. (PCP) ICCF meeting was held at Bangkok, Thailand dated 31st Oct 2016, Mr. Tariq Javed, Executive Director, participated in the meeting telephonically and welcomed all the ICCF members in the meeting and shared the mission of ICCF among all the members. The ICCF’s mission is to share God’s love by following his example in caring for others through meeting the physical, spiritual, and educational needs of our neighbors both in our local community and internationally. He also shared that we need to work in a team with a commitment and dedication for the empowerment of Pakistani Christian Asylum Seekers in Thailand and Asia. He shared that today’s main objective of the meeting is to make strategies to empower the asylum seekers and equip them with skills so that they can struggle and participate in ICCF programs to settle themselves into welcome countries. While Ms. Anila Director ICCF Thailand Chaired a meeting concerning Pakistani Christian Asylum Seekers in Thailand along with members Ms. Faiza Aslam - Asistant Director ICCF, Mr. Imran Ishaq - Director Research and Development, Ms. Nomi Saleem -Asistant Director Research and Development, Mr. Joseph Gill-Manager Finance and Food Project and Mrs. Rushba Alfred -Asistant Manager Finance and Food Project and Mr. Zahid Younis (member) to discuss ongoing projects ,current situation of Immigration Detention Centre in Thailand. Many other issues were discussed and planned for future activities to make best effort to provide services for IDC people and their rescue. Necessary decisions were made. Sooner recommendations will be sent to Executive Director in U.S.A. "ICCF is deeply concerned about Pakistani Christians in Thailand who are in vulnerable conditions."
