Release Liaquat-Nehru Pact in Public Domain demands Nazir Bhatti

Washington DC: November 1, 2016. (PCP) Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC has sent a letter through Pakistani Ambassador in USA to immediately release in Public Domain “Liaquat-Nehru Pact” signed by Prime Minister of Pakistan Khan Liaquat Ali Khan and Prime Minister of India Pundit Jawaharlal Nehru in 1950, in New Delhi for protection of rights of Muslims in India and Christian-Hindus in Pakistan. Dr. Bhatti have said that India have commissioned “Minority Commission” in true spirit of Liaquat-Nehru Pact and given due equal rights to Indian Muslims while Pakistan have established self-styled Minority Commission and imposed Selection System on reserved seats to silence voice of religious minorities in Pakistan. “Release Liaquat-Nehru Pact” in Public Domain that Pakistani Christians may know that what kind of International Treaties government of signed but due rights are denied” said Nazir Bhatti PCC Chief said that if government of Pakistan not released document of Liaquat-Nehru Pact within 15 days then I will be forced to appeal Indian government to release it on Public Domain. Sub: Release of document “Liaquat-Nehru Pact” in Public Domain His Excellency, I, the undersigned Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC request your honor to release documents of “Liaquat-Nehru Pact” signed by Prime Minister of Pakistan Khan Liaquat Ali Khan and Prime Minister of India Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru in 1950, in New Delhi for protection on religious minorities in respective states. It is submitted that Indian Government commissioned “National Minority Commission” under true spirit of Liaquat-Nehru Pact with establishment of Indian Muslim Law Board but Government of Pakistan denied formations of such commission instead imposed Islamic Laws on minorities and commissioned self-styled Minority Commission. I would request government of Pakistan to release Liquat-Nehru Pact in Public Domain unless within 15 days unless I will be forced to request Government of India to post it in public domain that Christian may raise issues of Christian rights on International forums in light of that treaty signed by Pakistan-India.
