Michael Javed former member of Sindh Assembly passed away

Karachi: September 28, 2016. (Our Correspondent) Former Member of Sindh Assembly Mr. Michael Javed passed away here today after heart attack. He was elected member of Sindh Assembly and raised voice for Christian rights on floor for their due rights. As news of death of Mr. Michael Javed spread among Christian, hundreds of messages of condolences started appearing on social media around world which expressed love of Pakistani Christians with their leader. Mr. Michael Javed was strong supporter of one man one vote for elections on reserved seats for minorities and he raised voice for it different national and International forums when government of Pakistan imposed Joint electorate system in 2000. Pakistan Peoples Party Minority Wing leader Riaz Nazir has announced with deep grief sad demise of former member of Sindh Assembly Michel Javed on night of 27 September 2016 due to hearth attack. He was chairman of Pakistan Minority Front. Riaz Nazir announced that his last rites (prayers) will be held at Issa Nagri St. Philip Church Karachi on Thursday 29th September at 11 mornings. He will be laid to rest at Gora Qabarstan Karachi on same day evening at 5;00 PM. Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC have expressed his grief and extended condolence to the family of Mr. Michael Javed on his sudden demise. PCC Chief paid homage to services rendered by Mr. Michael Javed and said that his positive role in politics of Pakistani Christians will be ever remembered.
