Karachi: September 21, 2016. (PCP) Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC has said in a statement issued by Central Secretariat of PCC here today that Joint Electorate system imposed on religious minorities by Muslim political parties have lined up opportunist, alcohol mafia, land mafia and coward leadership among Christians who always speak their master’s voice to justify situation of Pakistani Christians. Dr. Nazir Bhatti said that Pakistani Christian nation is passing through worst crisis of its history in sub-continent of India after creation of Pakistan in 1947 but Christian leaders are saying that situation of Christians is better in Pakistan comparing to other countries. “The comments published in section of press that religious minorities safer in Pakistan by one Christian provincial minister are untrue but demand condemnation” said Nazir Bhatti One Khalil Tahir Sindhu who is who is not elected by votes but selected by Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz Group PML (N) on reserved seats for minorities in Punjab Assembly and now acting on that conservative Muslim party as Minister for Human Rights and Minorities’ Affairs in a meeting with Ms. Ruth Graham head of a UK based funding organization uttered such unworthy and false comments to please his masters that religious minorities are safer in Pakistan. Nazir Bhatti said “The Muslim political party which selected Mr. Sindhu is ruling Punjab province of Pakistan where Christian colonies have been set on fire by mobs, Church properties have been illegally occupied by Muslims, incidents of accusing of blasphemy are at rise, the abduction of Christian women and enforcedly converting them to Islam is at its peak, percentage of unemployment among Christian youth is 60%, admission of Christian students in professional colleges and higher study institutions is dropped to lowest and attacks on life and property of Christians have created fear of insecurity but to Christian minister seems all safer” PCC Chief urged visiting delegation and international media to contact common Christian instead of selected Christians in Senate of Pakistan, National Assembly of Pakistan and Provincial Assemblies because they are not true representatives of Christians but tools of Muslim political parties imposed on Christians.
