New York: September 5, 2016. (PCP) According to media reports and some Christian participants in a protest rally in front of United Nations Headquarters on September 2, 2016, a Christian who is Federal Minister for Human Rights named Kamran Michael voiced against Indian atrocities in Kashmir with over a dozen Muslim-Christian protestors. Senator Kamran Michael who held very low profile in Christian Rights Movements in Pakistan was awarded with Selection as Membership of Punjab Assembly due services of his father Mr. Michael who stood for equal human rights for Christians, rule of law and democracy in leadership of Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan for decades. Kamran Michael joined conservative Muslim and anti-Christian, anti-democracy political party Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz Group PML (N) and accepted anti-democratic election process of Selection instead of Elections on reserved seats for minorities in Punjab Assembly bulldozing his father struggle for vested interests. The incidents of burning of Joseph Colony, Iqbal Park suicide bombing, Youhanabad Church bombings, Gojra carnage, arrests of Christians under blasphemy accusation, selling of Church property of Gosha-e-Aman and hundreds of cases of enforced conversion to Christian women to Islam took place in Punjab province on which his masters party PML(N) rules but he never stood up on floor of Punjab Assembly or after becoming Senator on floor of Senate of Pakistan to voice for rights of Christians or protested in front of Lahore Press Club or Islamabad Press Club. But this so-called Christian leader Kamran Michael stands in front of UN offices in New York with shameful low gathering of only over a dozen for rights of Kashmiri Muslim while it witnessed that only Christians staged protests on this place with hundreds. Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC have strongly condemned anti-Christian role of Kamran Michael on not raising voice for Christians on floor of Senate of Pakistan and urged few people of Pakistani Christian Diaspora in USA who joined Kamran Michael protest to boycott his future visits. Nazir Bhatti said that government insider are spreading rumors that Kamran Michael was an instrumental tool of government of Pakistan to convince Government of Sri Lanka to impose visa restriction instead of entry on arrival to block flow of Christian asylum seekers who are fleeing from Pakistan after atrocities and genocide. If it is proved truth as any other party takes over rule in Pakistan from PML (N) after 2018 national general elections then PCC will file charges against Kamran Michael in Apex Court of Pakistan under different charges. Sources in administration close to Pakistan Christian Post have informed that Kamran Michael and another Christian Minister in Punjab government have been provided with funds from Establishment of Pakistan to bring back Pakistani Christian asylum seekers from Thailand. Dr. Nazir Bhatti appealed International community that not believe on statements of Kamran Michael, other Selected Christian in parliament on reserved seats and few clergymen who on their tours abroad issue statements such as “Christians are enjoying equal rights in Pakistan” because they speak for their Muslim masters in government.
