Missing Christian teen age boy from Lahore recovered after protest

Lahore: July 25, 2016. (PCP) A Christian boy named Zeshan Liaquat aged 12 years and student of grade 4 was recovered by police when family and human right activists staged massive protest within hours after his missing in city of Lahore. There are hundreds of children reported missing in city of Lahore from last few months and police failed to recover them. The majority of missing children is from old city area and Badami Bagh. According to reports, Zeshan Liaquat family is residing at Galili Church in vicinity of Ravi Road Lahore who went to buy breakfast at 9;00 AM but never returned home. His mother became worried when he not came home after two hours and informed her husband Liaquat Masih. Liaquat Masih reached home and started searching Zeshan but there was no trace of him in neighborhood; He started calling his relatives in Lahore and other cities of Punjab but Zeshan was not found anywhere. Liaquat Masih approached area police station and filed an application under section 363 in Shafiqabad Police station about missing of his son Zeshan Liaquat. Liaquat Masih informed Christian leader and Human Right Activist Khalid Shahzad and urged for his support and help in recovery of his son. Khalid Shahzad told PCP that I came at road with huge crowed with the help of electronic media who is already finding missing children and worried about 300 missing children in Lahore but police just making reports. When we started protest the Station House Officer SHO came to me and requested to open the road, I just reply `that where is FIR` (First investigation report against kidnappers? Then his DSP (Deputy Superintendent police) came with same question and I had same answer, Then Superintendent of city police came and asked me to clear the road and they will doing their best and we received FIR, During the investigation and our huge pressure the police informed to the family about the recovery of Zeeshan Masih who located near Sheikhupura at Phikhy police station, When we hard this news, At last yesterday @2:A.M Zeeshan Masih handed over to the parents. Mr. Shahzad said that if we have not launched protest then Zeshan might have been not recovered like hundreds of other Muslim children who are missing from Lahore city.
