Hyderabad: June 30, 2016. (PCP) At St. Joseph Christian Colony Lafitabad No. 10 Hyderabad-Sindh, some miscreant Muslim and notorious group of people attacked on Christian house and women. Every day some Muslim miscreant and notorious men named Mohammad waheed, Mohammad Altaf, Mohammad Ismail, Mohammad Ramzan, Mohammad Shoukat, Mohammad Imran , Mohammad Rafique , Papu kana, Mohammad Akmal, Achhu, Mohammad Adnan and other sit at Filter Plant and harass Christian women and Christian girls of Khatoon-e- Sulah Girls High school Latifabad Hyderabad. On 18th June 2016, at 4:00 pm, a Christian boy named Vicky Nasir S/o Aslam age 24 years went outside to throw domestic garbage in an open plot near filter plant where all the people of locality dump their domestic garbage in this plot, as Vicky Nasir threw the demotic garbage, the workers of the water plant objected to Vicky’s act which led to hateful arguments and then scuffle. Vicky ran to protect himself and took refuge in his house but the plant’s workers and other miscreants chased him into house and started to beat him, they were about 25 to 30 men and had weapons, iron rods, sticks and stones. They tortured him as Vicky tried to escape and ran towards his house, he shouted to help him for safety. On hearing his cry his family members brothers, sisters and mother came to help him, they tried to protect Vicky but they could not safe him, because the number of crowed after Vicky was 25 to 30 people. After that his brother in law Lavi came out and caught Vicky and saved him, but the Muslim miscreants men entered into Vicky’s house and attacked on his sisters and mother. The Muslim miscreants also harassed his sisters and beat them by sticks, iron rods, stones and weapons even they mercilessly torn the clothes of his sister. They beat his sister and brother in law by stones and by sticks and also open fire on his house. So Vicky took licensed rifle of his father to save his sister’s respect and himself and had to retaliate by firing shots in the air which have wounded three miscreants Muslims. Then intruders left the house but they threw stones and fired shots on them. The mother of Vicky closed her gate; the spots of bullets were on face of the gate and wall apparently. On the spot policemen came and arrested two Christian Vicky Nasir and his brother in law Lavi Masih, Police registered FIR against Vicky Nasir, Lavi Masih, Faryad Masih, Aslam Masih and Sona Masih. FIR No. 53/2016 under section 324, 147 and 148 –PPC. The Muslim men fabricated false story they said when Vicky parked his rickshaw at the filter plant and its operator along with his employs objected to it, according to Muslim men, Vicky had a sound system fitted in his rickshaw and he was loudly playing music. He turned violent when he was asked to switch it off as the sound was disturbing those saying prayers nearby, they claimed. They alleged that Vicky retreated into his house and fired shots on them from inside after the heated arguments into a brawl and led to a scuffle. Vicky’s family and resident of St. Joseph Christian colony rejecting false allegations against the arrested Christian suspects; they said Vicky’s rickshaw did not have a sound system fitted in it so there was no question to playing it loudly or otherwise. Secondly, the episode started at around 4pm which was no prayers timing. The Muslim men tried to make Christian Muslim issue and tired to highlight false religious matter. Situation is that women are in trouble and escaped their houses. Police tortured two Christian who are in PS B section Lafitabad. On 19th June 2016 at 10: am, local social worker, Christian Advocates and Community of St. Joseph Christian colony conducted meeting about this incident and decided following points: Support to affected family, Announce Action Committee, Protest and highlight the issue in Electronic and print media, Contact to Advocates and Financial matter Likewise community of St. Joseph Colony arranged all things and handover all matters to Action Committee. So community nominated Action Committee to continue work on this issue. So on 19th June 2016 Action committee conducted a demonstration outside the local press club Hyderabad. They made demonstration raised slogans against alleged indecent activities on the part of the people routinely sitting at the filter plant, claiming that dozens of unconcerned youth found it an ideal place for eve-teasing as it was located right at the entrance of the colony. The demonstration demanding and urged the authorities to look into the matter and conduct impartial inquiry and close down the filter plant and allow the Christian community to lodge their FIR of the Saturday incident, they also called for talking appropriate measures aimed at preventing mischief makers from pitching the Christian and Muslim communities of the area against each other on different pretext. Some miscreants are bent upon giving religious color to the matter of garbage dumping, eve-teasing and rickshaw parking in the locality. The demonstration demanded release of the two suspects booked on “false charges”. On 20th June 2016, Police men have taken to Vicky Nasir and Lavi Masih before the honorable Judicial Magistrate No.5 Hyderabad and took remand for 5 days, our advocates also presented in the court. Police continue torture on Christian’s boys who are arrested and locked up in PS B section Lafitabad, police is not cooperating. On 21st the mother of applicant Vicky moved an application to DIG Hyderabad for protection and to lodge FIR against miscreant Muslim culprits, and very next day 22nd June Advocates appeared and moved an application of 22 a & b in session court Hyderabad for lodging FIR but all in vain . On 25th June 2016, at 10 am Police brought from B section Police station to Vicky Masih and Lavi Masih for custody at court, honorable Judicial Magistrate 5th Hyderabad, the court was vacant so the custody brought to in charge of honorable 2nd Judicial Magistrate and police has taken remand of 3 days for further investigation in matter. On the same day Mr. Niaz Muhammad Ghangro Advocate, Mr. Mehmood Qadir Advocate, Mr. Sooba Bhatti Advocate and Mr. Ayaz Muhammad Advocate presented and proceeded application 22 a & b before honorable 9th Additional session Judge Hyderabad, order will be announced on 28th June. During meeting in court the family of Vicky and Lavi intense condition and were weeping and saying, we are innocent and peaceful citizen of Pakistan. We request the higher authorities to take appropriate action to conduct impartial inquiry in such incident and also provide us protection, as well as they informed us that police is not cooperating to meet our family with us at police station. As a Minority, there is no safety and security in Christian areas, police is not cooperating. We hope on 28th June the honorable Judge order for 22 a-b. We request all the Christian community to pray for Vicky and Lavi and others Christian.
