Karachi: June 26, 2016. (PCP) Pakistan Christian Congress PCC strongly condemn KPK government on cutting down funds for minorities welfare in annual budget of 2016-17 and transferring it to an Islamic Seminary which educated and trained “Talban” who have killed thousands of innocent civilians in Pakistan and Afghanistan. In KPK province bordering Afghanistan, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf PTI headed by Imran Khan is ruling as leading partner with another Islamic party Jamat-e-Islamic JI after national general elections of 2013. Imran Khan who campaigned for Dialogue with Talban groups TTP instead of military operation keeps soft corner for Islamic extremism and TTP played key role for him to bag votes of Islamists when Talban bombed election rallies of Pakistan Peoples Party PPP, Awami National Party ANP and Muthidda Quomi Movement MQM in KPK, Sindh and Punjab provinces to secure open ground for him during national general elections of 2013. Imran Khan was never sympathetic towards religious minorities being sympathizer of Islamists and his ruling party PTI in KPK issued orders “Christians will be only awarded cleaning jobs of sanitary workers in KPK” Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC said in a statement issued from Central Secretariat of PCC that Christian should refrain from joining PTI and participating in gathering of Imran Khan after PTI cutting down funds for minorities welfare in KPK. Nazir Bhatti said “PCC will launch campaign to boycott Imran Khan and his PTI because he have not welfare agenda for religious minorities in Pakistan”
