Karachi: June 3, 2016. (PCP) Pakistan Christian Congress PCC has rejected traditional National Budget 2016, presented in National Assembly of Pakistan and Senate of Pakistan by government of Pakistan Muslim Nawaz PML (N) here today.
Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC commenting on National Budget of Pakistan by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said that this budget have no allocation for welfare of minorities and Human Rights and termed it as anti-minorities budget like previous budgets.
“The minorities’ communities are facing economic crisis in Pakistan without any share in economic documents which is only for section of majority Muslims and to sustain feudalism in Pakistan to prolong rule on poor and down trodden religious minorities” said Nazir Bhatti
According to PCC Chief, if government of Pakistan has allocated funds for minorities with revenue collected on Liquor distribution then situation of minorities might be changed.
Nazir Bhatti said that Islamic Republic of Pakistan on one hand says that Liquor Business is un-Islamic but feels no hesitation to swallow revenue collected by Liquor and spends it on welfare of Muslims.
Meanwhile, MQM rejects “traditional, anti-people” budget according to MQM leader Dr Farooq Sattar who called the budget for fiscal year 2016-17 as traditional and anti-people and said the session was called to befool the people once again. Watch what Farooq Sattar has to say about the budget.
