Philadelphia: May 11, 2016. (PCP) International Community Care Foundation - ICCF team participated in the Praise the Lord show at 1810 Columbia Ave Folcroft PA 19032. Praise the Lord show was hosted by Pastor Javed Rauf, MD Jesus Christ Television Pakistan and Secretary, River of God Ministries in collaboration with Trinity Broadcasting Family of Network (TBN). This week International Community Care Foundation was featured on Trinity Broadcasting Network and JCTV’s Praise the Lord show regarding their ministry and the Pakistani Christian refugee crisis. Executive director Tariq Javed, as well as Pastor Andrew Bertodatti and Audrey Olsen were interviewed regarding their ministry among immigrants in New York City as well as their ministry to the refugees in the Pakistani diaspora. As many Pakistani Christians have been forced to flee their home country due to religious persecution, many have found themselves in Thailand where they are denied asylum and regarded as stateless and illegal immigrants. As they are detained, there has been a great deal of sickness and even death within the detainment centers. Outrage has grown after the death of Snaina Naiz, a pregnant woman who was detained in one of these camps who grew ill because of the conditions. Javed and ICCF led a protest outside the United Nations to call for international pressure to release these refugees and send them to safe countries that will grant them asylum. Javed, Olsen and Bertodatti also shared about their ministry to serve the needs of immigrants in New York City. ICCF serves through ESL programs and community organizing, all while sharing the gospel with those who have had limited prior access to the gospel and scripture. In this interview, Javed called for increased prayer and pressure on international organizations to respond to this crisis. Praise the Lord show is hosted by Pastor Javed Rauf and is filmed in Philadelphia, PA. ICCF is based in New York City.
