New York: April 6, 2016. (PCP) Pakistani Christian Diaspora in USA and leaders of local American associations and Church gathered in front on UN Building on April 5, 2016, under banner of International Community Care Foundation ICCF to condemn suicide bombing in Iqbal Park Lahore on Easter Sunday in which 74 were killed and more than 300 injured. Mr. Tariq Javed and Mr. James Fazl from ICC delivered speeches on need to organize this protest demonstration and expressed concern on not providing adequate security to Christians in Pakistan from attacks of extremist Muslim elements. Senior Pastor Tom Richter of New Hope Christian Church offered opening prayers while Dr. Paul Vries, President NY School of Divinity condemned the recent bomb blast in Lahore especially on Easter day on Christians in Pakistan and appeal to UN to provide security to Pakistani Christians. Bano Javed, Audrey Olsen, Pastor Andrew Bertodatti, James Scott Berry, Sam Green, Perviaz Rafique, Akram Gill, Hubert George, Wilson Chowdhary, Tariq Rehmat and Pastor Javed Rauf addressed to protestors and condemned burning of their homes, attack on Christian churches, raping of girls and burning Christian alive.
