Hyderabad: February 26, 2016. (By Abbas Kassar) Central Chairman of the Sindhi Sangat Sindh Mansoor Khaskheli has strongly condemned recent attack on Hanuman temple in village Rao Babu Ehsan near Mirpurkhas and demanded quick action against culprits involved in attack.
In an issued press release Central Chairman of the Sindhi Sangat Sindh Mansoor Khaskheli has said that assets and lives of Sindhi Hindus in Sindh are continuously under attack. Meghwar and Kolhi community in Village Rao Babu Ehsan near MirpurKhas which are living in this village before the partition of sub-continent, but few days ago a local feudal attacked the houses of Hindu community and demolished the Hanuman Mandir, Holy statues of Hindus were stoned. Meanwhile culprits also harassed and attacked women and children.
The Hindu community of this village has more than 150 houses, 6 temples and according to villagers these all temples are also 150 years old. Central Chairman of Sindhi Sangat Sindh Mansoor Khaskheli further said that Sindh is the land of Sufis, preaching tolerance, interfaith harmony & love for humanity for the last many centuries. Such attacks are deemed as attacks on the Sindh’s historic identity which was earned through the struggle of the Sufis, Secular and the progressive people of Sindh. He demanded of the authorities to arrest the culprits immediately and bring them to justice.
