Karachi: November 3, 2015. (PCP) Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC have strongly condemned statements of one Pastor Anwar Fazal during his previous tour to Europe that Christians are enjoying equal rights in Pakistan, according to a press note issued from Central Secretariat of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC here today; PCC Chief Nazir Bhatti said that such elements like Pastor Anwar Fazal when visit abroad then issue such statements that Christians are enjoying due rights in Pakistan on intimation of establishment of Pakistan to get protection on their misdeeds and corruption in funds which they receive from Western donors to help poor Christians in Pakistan. “PCC demands investigation in funds which Pastor Anwar Fazal banks from his donors on which he enjoys life like feudal lord that world may know that what he is investing in betterment of downtrodden communities in Pakistan” added Nazir Bhatti Nazir Bhatti said that it is up to religious leaders to decide that Pastor Anwar Fazal is following true Christian theology or not but Pakistan Christian Congress PCC apprehensions that Pastor Fazal will not act like political leader and issue statements when touring abroad. According to Pakistan Christian Post information’s, Pastor Fazal belongs to a very poor family but after receiving foreign funds, he is enjoying life like a feudal lord in Pakistan instead of helping poor and needy Christians in Pakistan. Pakistan Christian Congress also expressed concern on relationship of Pastor Anwar Fazal with elements who have sold Church properties and made millions and his Isaac TV promotes them with broadcasting their promos and interviews. Nazir Bhatti condemned Pastor Anwar Fazal on giving name to Karachi Prayer gathering as “Karachi Prayer Festival” and urged him to remove word “Festival” from it because he is living in Islamic Republic of Pakistan and shall refrain from damaging Christianity on intimation of government of Pakistan. Pakistan Christian Congress PCC urged Interior Minister Ch. Nisar Ali to investigate funding to Pastor Anwar Fazal and take action because he is misusing poor Christian to get funds from Western countries but using on his vested motives.
