Kamran Michael defrauded 55 million rupees on alleged sale of Church in Murree

Islamabad: October 28, 2015. (PR) Federal Minister for ports and Shipping Mr. Kamran Michael allegedly defrauded an amount of about 55 million rupees in convince with few other accused persons including Shafiq Masih, Aqeel. According to press release issued here today by Bukhari and Dab Law Associates, the said accused persons induced the complainant/ Petitioner Mr. Waqar Ahmed Khan that they are authorized attorney of World Mission and sold the Trinity Church Murree. The petitioner has approached the Lahore High court Rawalpindi Bench, Rawalpindi through ICA No. 18/2015 for seeking directions to register a criminal case/ FIR against Mr. Kamran Michael and other responsible. The Counsel for complainant Syed Khawar Ameer Bukhari Advocate High Court stated that Mr Kamran Michael while assuming the authority of Minister for Minorities in 2013 defrauded the petitioner and misappropriated an amount of 55 million rupees on the pretext of selling land of trinity Church Murree situated at Mall Road pretending it to be an extra land and with the aim to utilize the said sale amount for the betterment of Christian Community. It was communicated to the petitioner that said decision of selling extra land was taken by World Mission at USA.
