Toronto: October 10, 2015. (PCP) Justice has finally occurred in Pakistan. International Christian Voice is pleased to say that the Supreme Court of Pakistan has made the decision to maintain the conviction of Mumtaz Qadri, the killer of Governor Salman Taseer. This decision made by the Anti-Terrorism Court is a landmark judgement. We want to congratulate Justice Asif Saeed Khosa, the judge who headed the decision for taking such a bold step. He stated that it is unjust for citizens to take the law into their own hands and bringing justice should be the courts job. We applaud Justice Khosa, his decision is one that will never be forgotten. We are proud of the justice system of Pakistan for making the right decision and sending a clear message to all other culprits that when such serious acts of violence are committed against humanity, there are severe consequences. If the Supreme Court of Pakistan continues to make similar decisions against culprits in the future, we are positive that our great country Pakistan will begin to see a positive change. If this continues all citizens of Pakistan especially the religious minorities will begin to feel safe in their own homes again and will feel secure knowing that their rights are being protected by the justice system.
