Government of Balochistan (in Exile) sends condolences to India’s Prime Minister, and condemns Pakistan for the terrorist attacks

KALAT, Balochistan – General Secretary of the newly formed Government of Balochistan (GOB) in Exile, Mir Azaad Khan Baloch, on Tuesday sent his condolences to India's Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh over the devastation wrought by terrorist attacks in Mumbai. GOB (Exile) condemned the Pakistani spy agency, Inter-services Intelligence (ISI) for the terrorist attacks in India, an ally of Balochistan in its "Baloch War of Independence". Baloch offered to cooperate with the Indian authorities to capture the suspected terrorists. Seven bombs hit Mumbai`s commuter rail network during rush hour Tuesday evening, killing at least 147 people and wounding more than 400 in what authorities called a well-coordinated terrorist attack. There was no immediate claim of responsibility in the bombings, which came in quick succession – a common tactic employed by Pakistani supported Kashmiri militants. The blasts came hours after a series of grenade attacks by Islamic extremists killed eight people in the main city of India`s part of Kashmir. Pakistan, India`s rival over the disputed territory of Kashmir, is the prime suspect. The Pakistani military dictator, General Pervez Musharraf has openly expressed his displeasure with India over recent developments in the region. The current rift between the two nuclear-armed foes started when Indian officials used diplomatic channels to condemn Pakistan over its use of armed forces to suppress the ethnic Baloch in Pakistani-occupied Balochistan. Pakistani military regime retaliated, and soon the Pakistani-supported Taliban terrorists murdered an Indian expatriate working in Afghanistan. During President George Bush's recent visit to India, the Americans favored India over Pakistan in a nuclear deal that would circumvent nuclear non-proliferation restrictions to allow India to advance its nuclear technology for civilian projects. Furthermore, Afghan authorities are negotiating with their Indian counterparts to send Indian commandos into Afghanistan to assist the Afghan government forces. This development has irked the Pakistani military regime that feels threatened to be encircled by Indian forces on both sides of its borders. Pakistan`s motive for committing this crime against humanity is evident – to destablize India.
