LARKANA: July 13, 2015. (Nazir Siyal) A Lady Health Worker (LHW) was gunned down by armed men at Wagan town of Kamber Shahdadkot district here on Monday. Three motorcyclists’ armed men opened indiscriminate fires on Lady Health Worker-LHV Rukhsana (28) daughter of Muhammad Hashim Soomro outside her house, when she was coming to her home at Soomra Muhalla Wagan city after her duty at Nasirabad tehsil. She was sustained critical injuries in the jurisdiction of Wagan Police Station, rushed to CMC Hospital emergency ward Larkana, where she succumbed to her injuries. DSP Wagan Police told media that deceased LHW had married with Abdul Hameed Brohi two years back but she divorced one year before. Her brother Abdul Wahab Soomro informed the journalists that she had no enmity with any person; she was killed innocently. The body of deceased was handed over the heirs of deceased after the medico-legal formalities; yet no case of incident had been registered reports told.
