Dublin: May 25, 2015. (PCP) Mr. Saleem Khursheed Khokhar, Former Member Provincial Assembly Sindh, have condemned the attack on a church and houses of Christians in Lahore.
He said as per newspapers the mob, some armed with deadly weapons, chanted slogans of Allah-o-Akbar also resorted to aerial firing. They looted around 15 houses in the area and many people gathered on the spot and some of them even tried to burn him alive, however, we saved him and handed him to the police,” he added.
He said the mob were chanting against Christians and looted belongings from house and also broke down doors.
He said in this incident, once again the Punjab Government didn’t taken any immediate action against the culprits, once again the Christian community has been harassed and looted.
Mr. Saleem Khursheed Khokhar Former MPA Sindh regretted the government and the local administration did not take any step to save the Christians and their belongings. It seems that, there is no government or any administration.
He further added, the cameras of Khadim-e-Aala Shahbaz Sharif will not work, but its works against Christians.
He demanded immediate action against the culprits.
