Islamabad, May 23: The Convener of World Minorities Alliance J. Salik has protested for five hours sitting on 5x5 feet red globe near 8x8 dove of red color with a 10 feet painting of Nagasaki attack in the background at his residence. He also addressed a press conference on the occasion. He said that red globe depicted the fire of hatred, intolerance and violence. With this conference he said he raised voice against the direction to which the earth is being pushed to become a power keg. The book "Pakistan Ki Pechan: J Salik Ahl-e-Baseerat Ki Nazar Mein" was also introduced to the press on the occasion. This book contains articles on 30-year struggle of J. Salik written by 177 intellectuals, scholars, politicians and columnists. Nobel Peace Prize nominee and former Federal Minister of Pakistan, Julius Salik, 59, is continuously struggling to promote his mission of world peace. He believes in security through love and peace. He leaves no scope for ambiguity about his end-results. In his current protest, he intends to divert the attention of the people towards the violence, hatred, discrimination and prejudice regarding minorities all over the world. This red glove shows that the world is being polluted and that fire of intolerance, bigotry and violence is engulfing this world with its flames.
