Karachi: The Rt. Rev. Ijaz Inayat Masih dedicated Professor Mushtaq Victor the State Minister for Minority Affairs here on 18th May 2006 at Central Brooks Memorial Church, Karachi during a multihued ceremony after taking oath in the presence of the thousands of Christians of Karachi and office bearers of the ruling Muslim league. This was perhaps the first occasion in the history of Pakistani Christians when such a ceremony has been held. The organizers had coordinated with the State Minister who was more than willing to receive such a blessing through the prayers of the Church. After taking oath the Rt. Rev. Ijaz Inayat Masih asked all present to arise to their feet and pray together while he dedicated the Minister in an atmosphere of spiritual sincerity. Professor Mushtaq Victor is a humble man in spite of enjoying high profile positions as educationist with a vast experience of recognized services in the educational field and serving as a Parliamentary Secretary of the same Ministry in the present Federal Government of Pakistan. He has been appointed as State Minister for Minority Affairs very recently.Expressing his remarks about the dedication Professor Mushtaq Victor said that he was feeling the blessings he received through the prayers of his community during the ceremony.
