Urdu Church Holland, Presented Petition to Dutch Parliament

Holland: March 26, 2015. (Parvez Iqbal) A delegation of Urdu Church Holland Congregation lead by Rev. Eric Sarwer have meet and presented Petition to the Dutch Parliament as per scheduled appointment on 25th March, 2015. Delegation discussed in detail about the situation of Christian in Pakistan after twin suicide bomb attacks in Youhanaabad Lahore and situation afterwards as well Pakistani Christian asylum seekers in Holland. Christian Refugees in Thailand, Malaysia and Sri Lanka were also discussed as one of the main objective of this meeting. Dutch Parliamentarians after hearing with due attention asked how they can help Christians in Pakistan as asked? The delegation explained at length by stating, “We have raised our voices through various protests, we went to Embassies, We shouted in front of EU Parliament in Brussels and more. But all our efforts and struggle were with no result. “ Dutch parliament members assured that shortly, The Ambassador of I.R.P of Pakistan for Holland will be invited in the Dutch Parliament related to these issues and solutions/suggestions. About Pakistani Asylum seekers in The Netherland, we were asked to provide the case file of Pakistani Asylum seekers and assured Pakistani Asylum seekers are our preference. About last issue regarding Christian Refugees, suffering in Thailand, Malaysia and Sri Lanka, they answered us that Jubilee Campaign and Christian Unie are busy to help Pakistani Christian Refugees in these countries. After successful, meeting, and meaningful assurance, the delegation presented petition with all good hopes of fruitful outcome.
