Karachi: March 17, 2015. (PCP) Dr. Nazir s Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC has strongly condemned Punjab government on turning Youhanabad, the biggest Christian residential colony of Pakistan, in fortress today with deployment of Rangers and thousands of policemen that relatives of martyred in twin suicide bombing on Churches may not participate in their funeral services with blocking all roads leading to this one million Christians area. Dr. Nazir Bhatti said “Mian Shahbaz Sharif, Chief Minister of Punjab government of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz Group PML (N) is anti-Christian and protector of Muslim extremists who are enjoying Punjab police escorts with changed names after declared to be banned terrorist outfits” Muslim terrorists have been never punished who burnt down hinders of homes of Christians in village Korian, Gojra and Lahore; Those Muslim terrorists who burnt alive 8 Christian children, women and elderly man in Gojra and Christian couple in Kot RadaKishan; Those Muslim extremists who filed cases of blasphemy against Christians on petty disputes or business rivalry: all it happened in Punjab province of Pakistan during ruling of Mian Shahbaz Sharif as Chief Minister of Punjab. The strong reaction of Christians in Pakistan was result of not ensuring justice toward violence against them but unfortunately Shahbaz government in Punjab conspire to turn Youhanabad Church blast to turn in communal riots to safe terrorists who bombed Churches. On intimation of Punjab government of Muslim League Nawaz Group PML (N), Muslims pelted stones on peaceful Christian protestors in Youhanabad area of Lahore where two churches were bombed by Muslim terrorist killing 17 Christian worshipers and injuring more than 80 on March 15, 2015, during Sunday services in a Catholic and Pentecostal Church. Dr. Nazir Bhatti also condemned arrests of Christian youth who were peacefully recording their protest after twin suicide bomb attacks on Churches and violence against them by Muslims on intimation of Punjab government. In a statement issued by Central Secretariat of Pakistan Christian Congress, PCC Chief Dr. Nazir Bhatti urged government of Punjab to end siege of Youhanabad that relatives of Christian martyred of Church bombing may participate and stop arresting of Christian youth on peaceful protest. Nazir Bhatti demanded punishment for Muslim woman who ran over her car on peaceful protesters killing two Christians and injuring 11 others. PCC Chief Nazir Bhatti expressed concern that Pakistan government and Muslim media is turning Youhanabad suicide bombing in communal riots which will result in genocide of Christian at large.
