Islamabad: March 12, 2015. (PCP) Patron-in-chief Pakistan Hindu Council and Member National Assembly Dr. Ramesh Kumar Vankwani has highly appreciated the services of newly-appointed Chairman NADRA, saying that progress made by him for the preparation of Hindu Marriage Certificate and Death Certificate is remarkable. He was talking to the journalists outside the Supreme Court on Thursday. He told that he himself presented the NADRA certificates sample copies to the two-member apex court, headed by the Chief Justice, on Thursday during the hearing regarding minorities’ rights.
Speaking outside the court, Dr Ramesh said that the Sindh Government. Following the orders of Supreme Court, has also removed hate material in the curriculum and in this regard, a copy of the revised curriculum that will be taught in the educational institutes across the province has also been submitted to the court for review. Moreover, the Supreme Court has ordered other provincial governments to offer hate-free syllabus also, Dr. Ramesh informed, terming this a great victory of all minorities living in Pakistan and acknowledged them for their successful struggle. He also lauded the brave role of DPO Thatha Fida Hussain Mastoi for providing protection to the local minorities’ citizens.
