The delegation informed the UN that in 2014 alone, the mutilated bodies of 20 Sindhi political activists have been found. The delegation requested an urgent intervention to investigate these atrocities and stop such gross violations of human rights from occuring. The UN representative assured WSC representatives that they would take the necessary action in accordance with the UN protocol set out by the special division for extrajudicial killings to respond to these occurances. It was agreed that WSC would provide the required information and the UN Special Repporteur will follow up on the cases of extrajudicial killings of Sindhi political activists.
