Karachi: February 5, 2015. (PCP) Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC have strongly condemns New Delhi Police on using force to arrest peaceful Christian protestors against setting on fire churches, desecration of Holy Bibles and acts to vandalize Church properties in capital city of India. Today, when Christian gathered in front of Sacred Heart Cathedral in New Delhi and wanted to March toward residence of Home Minister of India Shri Rajnath Singh to submit a memorandum to investigate and arrest culprits who vandalized Churches, the Delhi Police used iron hand to arrest Priests, Elders, Women and Children. Three Churches in New Delhi have been attacked with two months and administration has failed to arrest any produce in any court of law which spread feelings of fear and insecurity among millions of Indian Christians. Dr. Nazir Bhatti said that Christian in South East Asia is target of religious extremists and violence is rising against them in Pakistan and India which is alarming. “The Christians of sub-continent of India under umbrella of All India Christians Association voted for existence of Pakistan in Round Table Conference in 1930-32 in London during British colonial rule and voted for West Punjab to fall in lot of Pakistan before Boundary Commission but after 1970, they were made 2nd class citizen and treated like slave in Pakistan. But Indian Christians enjoyed due constitutional right which are also under threat in present BJP government” said Nazir Bhatti PCC Chief urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take notice on police action on peaceful Christian protestors and to order immediate arrest of culprits who committed heinous crime of attacking on Churches. Nazir Bhatti said that violence against Christians of India and Pakistan not stopped then we will be forced to observe “Day of Curse for Christian leaders of All India Christian Association who voted for formation of Pakistan joining hands with All India Muslim League and for secular India with All India National Congress” instead of being a third religious nation in sub-continent of India withdrew their demand to divide subcontinent in three parts as; India for Hindus, Pakistan for Muslims and Takistan for Christians. Nazir Bhatti announced that petition will be filed in United Nation for re-partition of India and formation of Takistan because if UN can pass resolution of right of self-determination then why not same right for Christians of India and Pakistan.
