Toronto: December 17, 2014. (PCP) International Christian Voice Canada strongly condemns the cowardly and barbaric terrorist attack on the army run public school in Peshawar, Pakistan. As a result of this incident more than 141 people were killed and 132 of them were children. Our hearts are deeply troubled and we send our deepest condolences to the families and friends of those who lost their very dear and near ones. This is not the first time a terrorist attack has taken place in the city of Peshawar. Not long ago a similar type of attack took place on the All Saints Church where over a hundred Pakistani Christians were killed and more than 200 were injured while they were leaving Church Sunday morning. We had asked the government of Pakistan to take concrete measures to protect all the citizens of Pakistan. If strong actions had been taken when the attack on the All Saints Church took place, this incident may not have happened. We request the international community to get involved with Pakistan to prevent these types of attacks in the future. We also request all of you to please remember all those who are suffering due to such attacks in your prayers. May God give them comfort and strength to endure this difficult time.
