Addressing the event, the chief guest said, “Cecil Chaudhry was amongst the distinguished breed of air warriors to whom we all are indebted. He was a legendary pilot and a true patriot who displayed unflinching courage, exemplary devotion and sheer professionalism throughout his service in the PAF. “The services rendered by him significantly contributed towards achieving air superiority by the PAF during the Indo-Pak war of 1965,” he said. “The legacy of Group Captain Cecil Chaudhry will remain alive forever in our hearts, our thoughts and our prayers.” Cecil (late) was an acclaimed national hero and a highly decorated war veteran of the PAF.
