Christian community playing a valuable role in the country: Ejaz

ISLAMABAD, Apr 16 (APP): Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Muhammad Ijaz ul Haq has said that the Christian community is playing a valuable role in various sectors of the country. He was speaking at a function held here in connection with Easter under the auspices of PML. The Minister said, the minorities enjoy full freedom in the country to live in accordance with their faiths and ideologies. Speaking on the occasion, PML Secretary General Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed stressed the need for promotion of harmony among different religions and civilizations, PTV reported. The Christian Community celebrated Easter in the world and Pakistan. Special prayers were offered in the churches for the prosperity and solidarity of the country and inter-faith harmony
