Mumtaz Bhutto not quitting PML-N

KARACHI/LARKANA: October 1, 2014. (Nazir Siyal) Veteran politician and Central leader Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Mumtaz Bhutto and his allies will not part ways, as the decision of 100 members of Central Committee Sindh National Front (SNF) had decided to merge and constantly remain with PML-N. Central Party spokesman Ibrahim denied such rumors further told to this scribe that Mumtaz Bhutto will not quit PML-N, former SNF 100 central members has decided to talks with PML-Leadership over the issues. Mumtaz Ali Bhutto and his companions believes in Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and never decided to quit the party he said. Former SNF central leaders after Eid will further discuss with PML-N leadership over MoU and other issues of Sindh. Whereas, according to the media reports that veteran politician Mumtaz Bhutto has announced to quit Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and indications are that he will join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). Speaking to media on Wednesday, Bhutto said PML-N’s politics in Sindh has been practically over and the Parliament which was standing behind Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is now also demanding mid-term polls. Bhutto, who had merged his Sindh National Front party with PML-N in May 2012, said he will make decision about joining PTI after conversing with his mates. He said PML-N created such circumstances which prompted him to part ways from it. He said PTI chief Imran Khan once again staged historic mass rally in Lahore that has stolen the sleep of incumbent rulers. Last week, PTI’s Vice-president Shah Mahmood Qureshi had met Bhutto at his residence in Larkana and offered him to join PTI along with his entire group. Bhutto, the cousin of former Prime Minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and one of the founding members of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), has served as Governor Sindh, Chief Minister Sindh and federal minister in past.
