Christian accused of Blasphemy gunned down in Rawalpindi jail

Pakistan: September 25, 2014. (PCP) A Christian accused of blasphemy named Zafar Bhatti, age 41, and was gunned down by an employee of Elite Force Police in Rawalpindi Idiala jail today. Zafar Bhatti, resident of New Town Gujrat was accused of blasphemy FIR number 526/12 was registered against him in police station in Gujrat in 2012. The trail of Zafar Bhatti was being conducted in jail due to security reasons by Additional District and Session Judge Mohammad Yar Gondal. Zafar Bhatti son of Sabir Masih was in Rawalpindi Jail since July 2012, waiting for his trial. Today an Elite Fore Policeman shot him dead. The employee of the same force named Qadri has been gun down the Governor of Punjab Mr. Salman Taseer because he went to meet with the blasphemy victim Aasia Bibi. It is the death alarm for all the Christian victims who are serving the prison under the false blasphemy charges in Pakistan. SLMP and other Human Right organization have rushed to Rawalpindi Jail to surface facts and details are awaited.
