WVIP transfers one of Peshawar Church blast victim to Australia for treatment

Lahore: February 23, 2014. (PCP) Few minutes ago Kashmala Munawar the victim of Peshawar Church blast fly to Australia for further treatment. Kashmala Munawar was one of the victims of the Peshawar Blast who had multiple pellets in her legs. Doctors amputated her one leg and rod was fixed in her second leg. But doctors are not sure for saving her second leg. WVIP, Requested our Australian friends Jeannette wells and her husband Ron for her treatment in Australia. They requested Children First foundation to help Kashmala. Thanks to Children First Foundation who accepted this challenge and invites Kashmala for Further treatment. We are also very thankful to our Pakistani Australian brothers who play vital role in this difficult project. Especially we would like to thanks Saeed Khan, Dr. Baber Peter and many others who did their best to make this project successful. The World Vision in Progress WVIP, a leading Pakistani Non-governmental organization appeals EU, USA and Canadian based human right organization to extend their support for victims of Peshawar Church blast who need special treatment facilities which are not available in Pakistan. The twin suicide bombers attacked All Saints Church in Peshawar city which killed 86 worshipers and injured dozens on September 22, 2013. Kashmala Munawar, a young Christian girl worshiper was seriously injured in Peshawar Church blast along with many other children, women and elders who have been not receiving adequate medical support in Pakistan due to negligence of administration and lack of medical facilities to such injured. WVIP also expressed gratitude to their US partner organization which helped treatment of victim Kishmala in RMI hospital in Pakistan.
