(Nazir Siyal) Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that Sindh Festival would be a way forward for the new human life at the dead city of mound, event is the history and revolutionary step to the future development he said. Speaking to a group of media men, Bilawal repeated famous quote that “Marsoon Marsoon Sindh Na Desson”and expressed satisfaction over all the arrangements, he also visited the different stalls and seating arrangements at various locations. Sindh Festival 2014 was organized at the archaeological site of Moen-jo-Daro, where familiar local Artists, folk singers, journalists and others refused to entry into the event. Whereas, the countrywide large number of officials, diplomats, foreigners’ delegates have been invited to attend Sindh Festival led by Chairman Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto, MNAs, MPAs and leaders thronged at 5000 ancient site of Indus Valley Civilization here to celebrate on Saturday night. On the occasion, well-known Singer Ashiq Nizamani along with dozens of folk singers, Artists, they always perform in all government functions and national and regional events also refused for any entry, simultaneously there was no invitations to local Artists/Singers, journalists and other citizens reached Moen-jo-Daro, they were also asked for no invitation or entry passes for the event and refused them any entry into the Moen jo Daro site. Later, the folk singers and artists protested at the main entry at archaeological site of Moen-jo-Daro. This scribe also observed that during the arrangements of Sindh Festival several walls at Stoopa site also damaged, where already the conditions of Moen-jo-Daro site walls are much vulnerable. The administration have arranged over 500 seating arrangements for the dignitaries, including ambassadors, foreigners, who reached at Moenjodaro on special flights for the Sindh Festival here on Saturday. Moen-jo-Daro surrounded area was cordoned off by 1000 security forces deployed at the different locations inside at ancient sites, which resulted damage of walls and others locations of Indus Valley Civilization told the sources. The sources also told that after a day Moen-jo-Daro walls and other damages are witnessed that during the construction of main stage and installation of towers for the lights around the area, while an official at the site confirmed the damages during the arrangements are occurred. Chief Minister Sindh Sayed Qaim Ali Shah, Adviser Sharmila Farooqi, Senior Minister Nisar Khuhro and others participated on the occasion.
